This presentation will dive into the depth the research we have done at Dolby into the current state of streaming media and CDN delivery, describing the challenges faced by even the best CDNs that we as an industry must overcome to meet this reliability standard. The future of streaming at the highest performance levels demands a highly adaptive and anticipatory solution. We will also share some insights into our research and standards work with advanced methods of streaming that would allow the industry to take better advantage of the underlying network and cloud infrastructure to make the demands of the future a reality.
